Xanadu
This role joins Xanadu's Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing Software team to bridge the gap between high-level logical abstractions and hardware control systems. The incumbent will design and optimize quantum compilation and Quantum Error Correction infrastructure while translating theoretical breakthroughs into production-grade software features. Collaboration with core teams is essential to integrate advanced execution pipelines and maintain high standards for the quantum software ecosystem.
Xanadu is a Canadian quantum computing company focused on building useful, widely available quantum computers using photonic (light-based) hardware. It develops both hardware and software—including open-source tools such as PennyLane and Strawberry Fields—to enable quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical workflows. Xanadu provides cloud access, developer-friendly APIs, and tooling to researchers and enterprises exploring applications in chemistry, optimization, and ML. The company emphasizes scalable, room-temperature photonic approaches to broaden access to practical quantum advantage.
