About this role

As a Software Test Specialist, you will validate mission-critical voice, data, and encryption infrastructure for Motorola Solutions' public safety radio systems. The role focuses on rigorous testing of P25 trunking controllers, dispatch consoles, and network components to ensure high availability and secure communications for first responders. You will utilize Python, Linux, and Wireshark to execute test plans, analyze traffic, and verify system resilience.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans for P25 infrastructure components
Perform deep-packet analysis of LMR-specific interfaces
Conduct redundancy testing to verify system operational resilience
Validate end-to-end encryption and OTAR software workflows
Capture and analyze IP-based traffic using Wireshark tools
