Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. They acquire and analyze data for diagnosis under the request of a licensed practitioner while ensuring patient safety and adhering to ALARA principles. The role involves preparing and documenting activities related to medications and radiation exposure in compliance with federal and state regulations.
