About this role
A Radiology Assistant at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital performs diagnostic radiological imaging in an ambulatory hospital setting under the direction of a qualified physician or registered radiologic technologist. The role is suitable for student technologists enrolled in ARRT-accredited programs as well as entry-level non-student technicians and operates within demonstrated competency. The position is part of a hospital imaging team within a Level III Trauma Center providing advanced clinical services to the community.
