Railcar Mechanic

The Railcar Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling mechanical equipment on rail freight cars in compliance with AAR-FRA rules and guidelines. This role involves operating various machine shop and mobile equipment, performing qualified welding, and coordinating the work of others to ensure proper maintenance and reconditioning of railcars.
