About this role

As a Chemist at MKS MSD, you will partner with the Surface Finishing Business Unit to drive product development, testing, and process optimization through laboratory experiments and pilot line demonstrations. You will design experiments, develop product formulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and identify disruptive technologies. The role requires maintaining strict confidentiality, adhering to safety guidelines, and supporting customers with on-site troubleshooting and trials when necessary.

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot line demonstrations for new product development
Design and execute experiments using statistical software and project management frameworks
Develop and modify product formulations based on market research and business requirements
Troubleshoot processes and provide technical support to customers during site visits
Write technical papers, patents, and research reports to document findings
