The R&D Mechanical Engineer leads the development of mechanical systems and subsystems for next-generation surgical robots, from early concept to verified product. This role involves designing high-precision mechatronic subsystems, executing detailed design work using 3D CAD and FEA, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate robotic platforms. The position also includes architecting test benches, supporting design transfer to contract manufacturers, and ensuring compliance with medical device standards.
With DEXTER, we empower access to robotic surgery, so more surgeon, in more ORs, can provide benefit from robotics to their patients.
