A Technical Writer at Mecademic creates precise, bilingual documentation for robotic automation solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with engineers and the certification team.
Mecademic is a Montreal-based robotics company that designs and manufactures ultra-compact, high‑precision 6‑axis industrial robot arms (notably the Meca500 series) for bench‑top and light‑industrial automation. Their robots are aimed at applications in electronics assembly, small‑parts machining, laboratory automation, medical device manufacturing, and OEM integration where space and accuracy are critical. Mecademic emphasizes easy integration through controllers, software/SDKs and supported interfaces so customers can rapidly deploy robotic cells. Their products target research labs, small manufacturers and automation integrators seeking a low‑footprint, high‑precision alternative to full‑size industrial arms.
