Cemstone, a century-old family-owned ready-mix concrete company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to deliver perishable concrete and associated products to various construction job sites. The role involves operating heavy equipment, managing tankers, interacting with customers, and adhering to federal DOT regulations for safe transportation. Candidates will benefit from home nightly schedules, on-the-job training, and tuition reimbursement for obtaining a CDL.

Responsibilities

Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of ready-mix trucks pursuant to DOT regulations
Safely deliver ready-mixed concrete and admixtures to construction job sites
Maneuver vehicles on unstable ground while ensuring desired concrete slump specifications
Communicate with dispatch via two-way radio and truck status signaling systems
Complete required paperwork and collect cash COD payments upon job site departure
