Real-time Control Engineer

This role focuses on developing and validating real-time control applications for microgrid and substation automation, including islanding, grid-forming, and blackstart sequences. The engineer will implement IEC 61850 GOOSE messaging, design V/f and P/Q droop logic, and manage mode transitions with sub-100 ms response times. Responsibilities also include co-owning the RT Unit Controller SCADA data interface and conducting HIL validation on RTDS/OPAL-RT platforms.
