The Receiving Quality Inspector serves as the first line of defense in quality control by inspecting incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet company specifications. This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools, verifying documentation, and collaborating with suppliers to address non-conformances.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials against specifications
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMMs
Document inspection results and initiate non-conforming material review processes
Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding quality issues
Verify certificates of conformity and material test reports for accuracy
