Records Clerk

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of police records by ensuring security, preserving the chain of custody, and managing evidence and case files in compliance with state laws. The role involves handling open records requests, processing accident reports and case dispositions, and preparing case packets for the District Attorney. The employee must exercise discretion with sensitive information while providing accurate and timely administrative support to law enforcement operations.
