Recreation Specialist

The Recreation Specialist serves as the highest-level part-time employee within the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department, overseeing the safe day-to-day operation of designated programs and facilities. This role involves planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and social services programs while providing leadership and supervision to subordinate employees and volunteers. The position requires coordination of facility reservations, assistance with marketing efforts, and regular communication with staff, volunteers, and participants.
