About this role

The Library at UBC’s Okanagan campus is seeking a Reference and Instruction Librarian to support research excellence and student learning through faculty liaison work, reference services, collection development, and instructional programs. This full-time, 12-month contract position involves collaborating with academic units, such as Engineering, to enhance library partnerships in teaching and research. The role focuses on delivering reference and research help, instructional design, and fostering information literacy within the academic community.

Responsibilities

Provide faculty liaison services and reference support to assigned academic units

Skills

Qualifications

Graduate degree from an accredited program of library, information science, or equivalent internationally accredited program
