Join the Civmec Team: Take on a key shutdown role as a Refractory Tradesperson supporting major operations at Wagerup in the South West. Be part of a reliable DIDO crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance works on one of the region's most important industrial sites. The Role: Interpret engineering and detail drawings, specifications and standards; assist Refractory Installation Assistant with the preparation and completion of a job; install a full range of refractory materials under the supervision of a more experienced Supervisor; advance Nozzleman skills along with trowelling, concrete and ceasefire pump skills; ability to manufacture and install formwork from drawings or prints associated with refractory installation; perform other general duties as required. About You: To be successful in the role you will possess the following: Australian Recognised Trade Certificate; 2 years experience in refractory; Construction White Card; Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue); Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue); Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens; Additional Tickets will be highly regarded.
