About this role

This role is the highest level non-exempt Refueling Services position at Vistra, reporting to the Refueling Services Supervisor. The Level 3 Technician performs advanced in-vessel fuel moves, supports reactor vessel disassembly and reassembly, and conducts high-skill maintenance tasks like FOSAR and control rod blade replacements. The position requires mentorship of lower-level technicians and active participation in work control coordination and engineering meetings.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced in-vessel fuel moves across multiple reactor designs
Support reactor vessel disassembly and reassembly activities
Conduct high-skill maintenance including FOSAR and control rod replacements
Mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians on refueling procedures
Participate in work control coordination and engineering meetings
