Registered Dietitian

The Registered Dietitian provides primary health care through prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within an interprofessional team that integrates traditional Indigenous and contemporary care models. This role focuses on delivering culturally appropriate diabetes care, including assessment, education, and nutritional planning, to support self-care for clients living with diabetes. The position operates within the professional scope of practice established by the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is part of the Ontario Nurses Association Bargaining unit.
