The Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) delivers direct patient care in a progressive care unit, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team and provides patient teaching and advocacy for adults and geriatric patients.
