About this role

This role offers a Part Time (32 HPW) Registered Nurse position on a Fixed Term Maternity Leave basis until May 30, 2027, within a specialized surgical ward in Fitzroy. The nurse will join an established multidisciplinary team to care for patients with Hepatobiliary, Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, Breast, and Endocrine surgical conditions throughout their continuum. Responsibilities involve utilizing points of care including diagnosis, therapeutic radiological intervention, surgery, referral, and recovery in a dedicated 24-bed surgical unit.

Responsibilities

Care for patients with specialized surgical conditions across all stages
Assist with diagnosis and therapeutic radiological interventions
Support surgical procedures and post-operative recovery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient continuity
Maintain accurate clinical documentation for patient records
