About this role

This 12-month graduate nursing program is designed for newly qualified nurses to gain experience in acute care settings at West Gippsland Hospital. Participants will rotate through various departments, including Emergency, Medical/Surgical units, and Day Surgery, or alternatively complete a dedicated perioperative track in theatres and recovery.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe and compassionate acute nursing care across multiple wards.
Rotate through Emergency, Medical/Surgical units, or Perioperative departments.
Perform clinical assessments and administer medications under supervision.
Adhere to infection control and safety standards during rotations.
Document patient care activities accurately in electronic records.
