The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Zayed 9 East) at Johns Hopkins is an 18-bed adult ICU specializing in the care of critically ill post-operative surgical patients. As a Level 1 Regional Trauma Center, the unit cares for a diverse population, including those recovering from abdominal transplants, trauma, vascular surgery, general surgery, GI procedures, and ortho/neuro spine surgeries. The multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to complex patients using advanced technologies.
