The Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality, patient-centred care within the Mary Coram Unit, a 40-bed subacute unit specializing in Rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation and Management, and Palliative Care. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement goal-oriented therapy that improves patient function, maximizes independence, and optimizes quality of life. The position supports patients with various conditions, including stroke, neurological diagnoses, orthopaedic issues, and life-limiting illnesses, while focusing on symptom management and family support.
