Registered Nurse- Progressive Care Unit

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse provides safe, patient-centered nursing care to adults requiring a higher level of oversight than general med-surg but not critical care interventional support. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, evaluating the effectiveness of other caregivers, and maintaining patient confidentiality throughout the nursing process. Nurses in this position manage diverse acuity levels involving cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions while adhering to Mercy's mission and service standards.
