The Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical provides direct patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role supports patients and families physically and psychologically across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The RN contributes to quality improvement initiatives and upholds the ministry’s mission and standards of care.
