Registered Nurse (RN) - Discharge Lounge

The Discharge Lounge RN facilitates patient throughput and supports efficient hospital-wide patient flow by coordinating the transition of discharged patients from inpatient units to the Transition Lounge. This role ensures safe, timely, and patient-centered transitions of care while promoting operational efficiency and capacity management through collaboration with Case Coordination, unit nursing teams, EMS providers, and ancillary departments.
