About this role
The Clinical Nurse II is a competent staff nurse who leads the Care Delivery Team and directs nursing care for a defined group of patients. The role demonstrates clinical competency and nursing leadership while coordinating patient care and supporting new staff through precepting. This position functions at the second step of the Mercy clinical ladder and practices independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
