Registered Nurse (RN) - Medicine StepDown

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in a collaborative, patient-centered environment on the Bliss 11 Step Down unit, providing care to patients with complex, highly acute medical issues such as respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and sepsis. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Critical Care Pulmonologist, the nurse utilizes evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans addressing the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and their families. The role involves working in a fast-paced setting with interdisciplinary teams of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality medical care.
