About this role
The Clinical Nurse I (CN I) at Mercy Health is the entry-level registered nurse role that leads the Care Delivery Team and directs care for a team of patients, using CN II as a resource. The CN I performs independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' physical, psychological, and sociocultural needs and demonstrates competency in equipment use across age groups. This role is the first step in the Mercy Clinical Ladder with expectation to progress to CN II within one year.
