About this role
The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) provides specialized nursing care to children, youth and families affected by sexual assault and/or domestic violence, primarily in the Emergency Department and during follow-up. The role focuses on addressing physical, psychosocial, and forensic needs using a family-centered, trauma-informed and intersectional approach while practicing to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario and maintaining professional competencies.

Qualifications
