About this role

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Wilmington 6 South Stepdown Unit to work 36 hours per week on rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. The RN will manage 3‑4 medical or surgical patients per shift, collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams, and provide patient education and emergency care.

Responsibilities

Assess patient physical and emotional status
Manage 3 to 4 medical or surgical patients per shift
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve care goals
Provide patient and family education on disease process
Monitor patients and respond to emergencies
