Registered Nurse

The Pre-Admission nurse will phone patients prior to surgery to obtain a thorough medical history, provide pre-op instructions, and clarify the patient's understanding of the procedure and expected outcomes. They will work with the Scheduling Clerk to optimize the operating room schedule and handle potential problems appropriately. The role requires demonstrating cooperative behavior with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
