Registered Nursing Consultant

The Registered Nursing Consultant position within the Newborn Screening Follow-up Program's Nursing Unit provides guidance and technical assistance to medical providers across Florida regarding newborn screening matters. The role involves evaluating and interpreting newborn screening results, performing case management to ensure follow-up recommendations are completed, and delivering training and educational materials to various healthcare stakeholders. This position requires collaboration with a team of Registered Nurse Consultants to support the tracking and surveillance of the statewide newborn screening program.
