About this role

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will support the Director of Care in delivering high‑quality nursing practice within Extendicare's long‑term care facility in St. Catharines. Working part‑time on a permanent casual schedule, the RPN provides resident care, assesses health needs, oversees personal care staff, and steps in for the Registered Nurse when required.

Responsibilities

Ensure resident care follows nursing standards and physicians’ orders
Assess residents and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
Supervise personal care staff and provide RN coverage when needed
