About this role

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will support the Director of Care by enhancing nursing practice quality and managing resident care in accordance with Ontario nursing standards. Working part‑time (15 hours biweekly, 6 am‑2 pm) at Extendicare St. Catharines, the RPN will assess residents, develop care plans, supervise personal care staff, and serve as a staff replacement for the Registered Nurse when needed.

Responsibilities

Ensure resident care follows nursing standards and physicians’ orders
Assess residents and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
Supervise personal care staff and provide RN coverage when needed
