Registered Respiratory Therapist

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care by setting up and operating equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, delivering necessary medications, and responding to changes in patient condition. Working under the department manager and physician orders, the therapist performs oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas sampling, ventilator management, and patient/family education on a rotating 12‑hour per‑diem schedule.
