Registered Veterinary Technician

The Registered Veterinary Technician provides medical and veterinary care to animals in the shelter while monitoring and safeguarding medicines and controlled substances. This lead position oversees Senior Animal Care Technicians and performs a full array of duties within the City's Shelter, including animal care, facility maintenance, and assisting citizens with animal reclamation or adoption. The role requires working a rotating shift schedule to ensure seven-day-a-week coverage for the humane treatment of shelter animals.
