Registration Coordinator

The Registration Coordinator plays a key role in the patient-facing registration experience by ensuring each patient encounter is positive, professional, and efficient. The primary function involves creating new registrations and checking patients in for scheduled and walk-in clinical visits throughout the outpatient setting of the hospital. Support may be needed for Urgent Care, Radiology, and Access Clinic check-ins, operating seven days per week during both day and evening shifts. The role also includes scheduling return visit appointments, minimizing clinic access delays, and effectively communicating with patients and families.
