Relay Protection Electrical Technician (Hydro)

This role involves the calibration, installation, maintenance, and operation of protective relay systems and associated equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of PG&E's generating plants and transmission networks. The position requires proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing complex electrical components, including microprocessor and electro-mechanical relays, SCADA systems, and various transformers. Technicians will work in diverse outdoor environments, often at heights or in remote locations, to maintain hydroelectric powerhouses and related infrastructure.
