About this role

As a Reliability Engineer - Performance & Life-Cycle Assurance at Mach Industries, you will oversee the reliability lifecycle for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) platforms and subsystems, ensuring they meet operational life-expectancy and reliability targets in mission-critical defense applications. Responsibilities include developing reliability programs, defining key metrics, conducting data analysis to identify failure trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. You will also monitor reliability indicators and communicate insights and risk status to senior leadership, all within a fast-paced startup environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related disciplineMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline5+ years of reliability engineering experience in complex hardware-centric systemsDemonstrated experience applying reliability methods such as FMEA, FMECA, and RCFAKnowledge of safety‐critical system standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178, DO-254)
