Remote Outpatient Coder- Per diem

The Outpatient Coder is responsible for the accurate and timely coding of hospital outpatient services, primarily focusing on Emergency Department facility coding. This role involves reviewing clinical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS codes, and facility E/M levels in compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards. The position requires strong knowledge of outpatient hospital coding, medical necessity, and NCCI edits to maintain productivity and quality in a high-volume environment.
