Girl Effect
Girl Effect is seeking an experienced technology and service-design partner to design, build, test, deploy, and support the next phase of the WAZZII platform as a safe, accessible, and measurable service-navigation system for adolescent girls and young women in Kenya. The engagement follows a service-design-led approach, focusing on user needs, safeguarding requirements, and tested service journeys to inform the final technical build. The partner will collaborate with girls, operators, and the Girl Effect team to shape journeys and define feature requirements before engineering begins.
Girl Effect is a global nonprofit that connects adolescent girls to vital information, supportive networks, and essential services to improve their health, education, and livelihoods. They help girls stay in school, find dignified work, make informed choices about their health, and build better futures for themselves and their communities. Girl Effect operates across multiple countries including Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania, and is a registered charity in the UK and a 501(c)(3) organization in the USA.
