About this role

As a Research Analyst at the World Resources Institute, you will support the U.S. Polsky Energy Center in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon energy future. Your role involves conducting research and analysis on electricity demand, grid planning, and clean energy technologies to inform policymakers and stakeholders. You will contribute to reports, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and help develop resources for state and local governments navigating utility planning.

Responsibilities

Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings from multiple sources
Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data on electricity demand
Draft sections of reports, issue briefs, and fact sheets for senior researchers
Support coordination of stakeholder convenings, webinars, and workshops
Develop tools and resources to help states evaluate clean energy options
