About this role

The Marcus Institute for Aging Research seeks a Research Assistant I to support the 'tDCS for Apathy' project and other initiatives within the Center for Mobility and Falls. This on-site role involves conducting research assessments, data collection, participant recruitment, and managing records for studies focusing on older adults with dementia. The position requires daily travel to participants' homes for in-person interventions and assessments, including the use of transcranial direct current stimulation technology.

Responsibilities

Conduct informed consent and screening for research participants
Administer in-person assessments and tDCS interventions
Collect and manage study data using REDCap
Recruit and coordinate visits for older adult participants
Maintain regulatory records and file adverse event reports

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biological or scientific discipline2-3 years relevant clinical or academic research experience
