About this role

We are seeking a Research Assistant in Integrated Photonics to advance the design, fabrication, and characterization of next-generation photonic devices for laser, RF photonic, LiDAR, and quantum-sensing applications. The role focuses on hybrid III-V on silicon and thin-film lithium niobate integration, along with end-to-end system demonstrations in clear FMCW LiDAR and rubidium-based quantum sensing environments.

Responsibilities

Design and simulate integrated photonic devices using advanced simulation tools
Develop and characterize hybrid semiconductor lasers and optical sources
Perform precise optical and RF measurements for laser linewidth and RIN
Publish research findings in leading journals and present at conferences
Execute end-to-end system demonstrations for photonic applications
