Research Assistant / Research Associate

This 4-year Prostate Cancer UK-funded project investigates how obesity-induced metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease creates a permissive hepatic microenvironment for prostate cancer liver metastases and contributes to treatment resistance. The postholder will work across research groups to establish and analyse pre-clinical mouse models, using immunological, histological, and molecular approaches to define liver microenvironment remodeling during metastatic progression. The role aims to identify mechanisms that can be targeted to improve treatment responses in prostate cancer liver metastases.
