About this role
Research Assistant supporting a national, multi-year study of the fiscal health and budgeting practices of U.S. state governments at the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance (ISLG). This is a part-time, temporary position (Jan–May 2026) with a flexible hybrid schedule and weekly in-person team meetings in New York City. The role is intended for qualified graduate students and contributes to a detailed scorecard assessment of state fiscal management.
