Research Assistant

This role supports research focused on extreme and littoral environments, particularly the Arctic and other wetlands, at the Naval Research Laboratory. The position involves imagery analysis and data processing using Python for optical and camera sensor data, while expanding the project to include other sensor types. The candidate will derive quantitative measurements for vegetation, soil, and water indices, as well as analyze ice presence and state, with opportunities for field work and travel.
