About this role

The Research Associate I/II supports Lexeo’s human iPSC-derived cardiomyocyte platform by executing cellular and molecular assays to evaluate target engagement, mechanism of action, and potency. This hands-on laboratory role involves generating and validating cellular models, maintaining cell cultures, and analyzing experimental data to support discovery and preclinical programs. The position reports to the Head of Cardiac Research and contributes to assay development while advancing therapies for genetic heart disease.

Responsibilities

Generate and validate cellular knockdown and overexpression models
Culture and maintain human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and other mammalian cell lines
Perform molecular assays to support mechanism-of-action and target-validation studies

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or a related field
