About this role

The Arc Institute is seeking a Research Associate to join the Pluvinage Lab, focusing on improving patient outcomes for neurological diseases through the exploration of undiagnosed autoimmunity. The role involves driving high-throughput antibody discovery in autoimmune neurology and neurodegeneration by working across the full experimental workflow, from designing constructs to analyzing and validating discoveries. This hands-on position aims to uncover novel autoantibodies that drive cognitive decline or promote cognitive resilience, ultimately advancing new diagnostic approaches from bench to bedside.

Responsibilities

Design DNA constructs and protein display libraries for antibody discovery
Execute high-throughput screens across multiple protein display platforms
Analyze screening data and validate antibody-antigen interactions

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, immunology, genetics, or a related fieldmaster’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, immunology, genetics, or a related field
