Research Engineer/Senior Research Engineer

The Adaptive Robotics and Mechatronics group at SIMTech is seeking a Research Engineer or Senior Research Engineer to develop embodied intelligence solutions for robotic manipulation and deploy them into real-world industrial applications. This role focuses on transforming perception and learning-based action models into reliable, real-time robotic systems capable of operating in complex, unstructured environments. The position involves working at the intersection of perception, decision-making, and physical robot programming to build integrated pipelines that enable robots to sense, reason, and act.
